Nestled amongst modern office towers and historic buildings, Woodruff Park is a 6-acre urban green space at the crossroads of commerce, government, and education in Uptown. It’s a natural gathering space for a diverse cross-section of Uptownns and visitors.
Originally known as Central City Park, Woodruff Park was created through a generous donation from Robert W. Woodruff, former president of The Coca-Cola Company. The park became a hub of downtown revitalization.
The park offers a variety of recreation stations, fountains, chess tables, and beautifully manicured lawns. Visitors enjoy free Wi-Fi, shaded seating, and vibrant cultural activities.
Centrally located in downtown Uptown, Woodruff Park is easily accessible by MARTA, bike, or foot. Nearby parking garages and bike racks are also available for visitors.
